Libecap, prior to joining the Wilkins organization was a real estate Salesperson for Toll Brothers in Country Club of the Poconos. Her job responsibilities included sales, creating marketing plans and organizing home owner events. Libecap worked for Toll Brothers between 2005 and 2013.
Prior to Toll Brothers, Libecap was a real estate Salesperson from 1996 to 2005 with LTS Builders. Libecap assisted in creating direct mail promotions, training and management of staff in the model homes and assisted in acting as interior designer for custom residential homes and sales.
Libecap’s education qualifications include attending the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York where she received an Associate’s Degree in Buying and Merchandising. Libecap attended Northampton Community College from 2004 to 2005 where she concentrated on Interior Design classes.
Said Amy Evans, Sales Manager, Rental department, “While Dawn may not have specific experience in Corporate and Vacation rentals, Dawn’s customer service skills have been a spring-board for her becoming a very valuable asset to me in the vacation, corporate and long-term rental department. Dawn is quick learner and between Tom’s ability to market along with my skills as a supervisor, will ensure the success of our Property Management Department.”
According to Thomas R. Wilkins, CEO, the Wilkins organization is changing their vacation rental division to include Corporate and Timeshare rentals. A Corporate rental is defined as a unit, typically a townhome, that’s rented anywhere between 3 to 9 months to a professional or company that has a specific purpose for being in the Poconos. Said Wilkins, “We’re handling, through our Corporate rental department, a number of the contractors coming in for the Camelback and Kalahari projects. In addition to that, Sanofi-Pasteur has a number of consultants coming in to the Poconos at any given time and we’ve successfully captured a large percentage of their business. Tobyhanna Army Depot, Pocono Medical Center and other larger scale projects or employers in the Poconos have also started utilizing our services.”
Wilkins further stated, “We have a new model for our vacation rentals which gets away from using individual owners but instead we partner with the Association and/or resort owner whereby we rent their delinquent accounts and turn the money over to the Association as payment towards an Owners’ account or rent unsold weeks. It gives us an unlimited supply of units without a lot of the challenges we may have while representing individual owners.”
Wilkins recently opened a Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates office at the Historic Upper Mill in Milford, PA. The office will also be utilized by NEPA Management Associates and Pennsylvania First Settlement Services. Said Christine Serpico, Senior Property Manager, “We just got our first account in Milford. We’re going to be handling Milford Landing, a 125 unit townhome community and the primary reason we got the job was that we had a location in Milford; so Tom’s idea of combining services under one roof works.”
