SKYTOP, PA – Alex Camaerei, Realtor with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates, was awarded the 2014 Scholarship at the annual Officers Installation Dinner held on December 6th at Skytop Lodge. The recipient of this award was chosen by the Pocono Mountains Association of REALTORS Board of Directors.
Camaerei was nominated for the Scholarship award by his co-workers and the Management at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates. The scholastic Scholarship consists of an education course that is approved by the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission and is allowed as credit towards a Pennsylvania Broker’s License.
Said Thomas R. Wilkins, CEO, “Putting Alex’s name in the hat for the Scholarship award was something that all of us agreed on. Alex is a young man who has a sincere interest in real estate and furthering his education. To that end, there wasn’t a person who did not want to support Alex in receiving the scholarship.”
Camaerei is a 2013 graduate of the Pocono Real Estate Academy and in December of 2013 passed the required exam. Camaerei started his real estate career with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates in February of 2014. Since he started in real estate, Camaerei has closed 10 real estate sales and 8 rentals.
Said Christine A. Wilkins, Gen Mgr., “Alex’s love of the real estate industry certainly matches our company’s Mission Statement. That Mission Statement says we love what we do and we do what we love.”
Said Camaerei, “I’m excited to have won the Scholarship. I want to further my career in real estate by getting my Brokers license, but more important than that is continuing to learn and getting an education. I immensely enjoy working alongside Tom and Christine who have taught me all that I know. The classes and the one-on-one training have assisted me in jump-starting my career.”
