Stroudsburg – William Schutte, Exec V.P./Company Recruiter, announced the hiring of five Sales Associates for the Company.  Hired were Stephanie Troiani, Realtor; Scott Matthews Jr., Realtor; Kathlynn Giselle Taylor, Realtor; Ewa Jaromski, Realtor and Emil Craig Hackman, Realtor.

Said Schutte, “With the economy picking up, as well as the real estate market, we’ve been assertively hiring agents, both seasoned and new to the business. Plus, when agents see our free training, it’s pretty much a slam dunk. Nobody has better training, and it’s free.”

Troiani, recruited by Schutte, prior to joining Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, was a Realtor with ERA One Source in Stroudsburg. Troiani was licensed in February of 2016, is originally from Watertown, New York and has lived in the Poconos since 1988. Troiani is very much involved in the local art community showcasing her photography (Stephanie is a professional photographer) for sale at local art galleries with proceeds going to the local animal shelters.

Said Thomas R. Wilkins, CEO, “Stephanie is one dynamic girl. She comes to our company with experience, but did not have support to advance her to the next level of her career. Stephanie definitely has the right personality, the right computer skills and the determination to succeed and be a top producer with Better Homes and Gardens, a lifestyle brand, behind her.”

Matthews, Jr., who grew up on the Pocono Mountains, comes from a true real estate family. Matthews’ mother, Debbie Matthews, Realtor, has been with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates for the past 8 years and Scott’s father, Scott Matthews, Sr., is in community management with a national company. Matthews, Jr. took the required courses and recently passed the State examination.   Prior to joining the Wilkins organization, Matthews worked as a golf course manager and worked at ski areas throughout the Poconos.

Said Dennis Mooney, Senior V.P./Assoc Broker, “I’ve known the Matthews family for over 30 years. I start to feel old when I see these young kids coming into the workplace. You have to appreciate that in another life I was a Golf Pro and in my younger days, a ski instructor before I got into real estate many, many moons ago.” “I see a young me in Scott, who I’ve known since he was a kid.” chuckled Mooney.

Touted Schutte, “Scott is going to work from our Bushkill office alongside his mother Debbie. He’s a millennium Realtor which puts his entire future in our hands. We will properly train and get him to know the real estate market and how it works.”

Taylor, originally from New Jersey, resides in Bushkill and was recruited by Dennis Mooney. Taylor while recently licensed in Pennsylvania, has seven years’ experience in real estate. Taylor is an experienced agent, foreclosure specialist, negotiating expert, has earned the Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) designation, speaks Portuguese, Spanish and Italian.

Taylor owned and operated a construction business in 2002. The business, Gemini Remodeling, LLC purchased and resold “fixer uppers” from 2002 until 2006. As a Realtor, Taylor was a million dollar producer and is proud of the fact that she had accumulated over $1 million in sales within the first 12 months as a licensed real estate agent. Taylor will work from the Bushkill Better Homes and Gardens office.

Jaromski, who also speaks 3 languages including Polish, is a graduate of the Pocono Real Estate Academy, taking the required courses and passing the exam in March of 2015. Jaromski attended the University of Wausau earning a Master of Science Degree in Mathematics, the New York Institute of Business Technology with a certificate of Accounting and has prior work experience as a store and office manager.

Said Mooney, “Ewa was the only person I know who got 100% on her real estate exam; and believe me, that’s just a small part of her personality. Speaking Polish, she will have support of the company to produce more Polish business (already a part of our market) through our online marketing. Speaking 3 languages will be highlighted on her free agent website, a part of ZAP.”

Jaromski loves hiking, gardening and spending time in nature.

Hackman is no stranger to the real estate business. Hackman, along with Tom Wilkins and Kathy Louis, Assoc Broker, were all part of the sales team at Coldwell Banker, Phyllis Rubin Real Estate 30+ years ago. Prior to joining Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates, Hackman was with Commonwealth Real Estate. Hackman, a native of Wind Gap, in the day, worked at Mount Airy in the Hospitality industry before getting into real estate. Hackman was recruited by Kathy Louis. Said Hackman, “I feel like I’m coming home.”

Wilkins proudly stated, “Craig has been a long-time friend of mine and Kathy Louis. All three of us were with Phyllis Rubin.”   “For those who remember, Phyllis was one of the best Brokers in the Poconos back then, I learned a lot from her. Phyllis was the best of the best.” boasted Wilkins.

“We’d like to see our sales force up to a minimum of 110 Realtors by year end.” stated Schutte. Recently, Schutte was promoted to the Wilkins Management Team. Based out of Milford, Schutte’s primary responsibility is retention of our existing sales force as well as building the sales force through recruiting in all four offices. Schutte is very experienced in online marketing and excels at teaching. Schutte with Wilkins will help with marketing and is one of the three ZAP specialists at BHG.

Schutte standing tall stated, “I really love what I do and do what I love. Having had the distinct pleasure of working with Tom and Christine Wilkins for the past 12 years and now being a part of the upper management team, I could not be more thrilled. I started my career with Wilkins & Associates Real Estate in the Dingmans Ferry office with Christine as my Manager. I literally learned everything I know from Tom & Christine.”

Schutte’s wife, Beth Schutte, Realtor, is the other part of the Bill Schutte Team, and will handle the team’s tenants, buyers and sellers. “Beth can handle our business while I travel from office to office. I still have weekends to go with Beth and continue to build our book of business.” said Schutte.
